Lokum was produced for the first time in the XVII century Turkey. An XVIII century English traveller was the one who brought it to Europe for the first time, where it became known as "Turkish Delight". Today, Turkish Delight is enjoyed across the world as one of the most delicious and popular specialty sweet known to man.
